SCREEN

ON THE

Godzilla VS Mechagodzilla

Celebrating its 50th anniversary, Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla (1974) is the film that gave us one of Godzilla's most iconic foes - Mechagodzilla, along with the spirited kaiju deity, King Caesar. Notable for its provocative score by Masaru Sato and unique setting of Okinawa, the movie has remained one of the fandom's favorites throughout the years. Actor Shin Kishida's performance as Agent Nanbara is one of the most memorable of the Showa era.

Godzilla VS Biollante

Regarded by some as the greatest Godzilla film to date, 1989's Godzilla vs. Biollante was the second film of the Heisei era - and one of the most original in the entire Godzilla franchise. With a strong story focused around biotechnology, as opposed to nuclear energy, inspired effects from the late Koichi Kawakita, and the debut of the memorable Heisei heroine, Miki Saegusa, the film continues to be held in the highest regard among kaiju fans.

Ultraman '66 Special Screening

Stay tuned for more information on this official release from Tsuburaya Productions that will be shown at Kaiju Go! 2024.

MAX TOY CO

MARK & MAX NAGATA

The amazing career of MARK NAGATA has covered everything from R.L. Stine's Goosebumps to the origins of Super7, from his own globally-acclaimed vinyl toy enterprise, Max Toy Company, to being the subject of an exhibit at the Japanese American National Museum. His art has graced auction houses, music videos, and galleries from Tokyo to Barcelona to Chicago - and at the core of every piece is Mark's deep love for the tokusatsu genre. Mark's son, MAX NAGATA, is one of the most sought after young artists in the space. Though a comic book colorist by trade, Max's paint work on sofubi have made a big splash with collectors, including his collaborations with artists like Frank Mysterio, Magitarius, Wonder Goblin, and Last Bastion Studios.
